The Humour Foundation
BIG4 and Clown Doctors Unite to Deliver More Smiles

In October, at their National Conference in Adelaide, a partnership between BIG4 Holiday Parks and The Humour Foundation was announced by Terry Goodall, CEO BIG4 Holiday Parks and Melinda Farrell, General Manager, The Humour Foundation. The Humour Foundation will now be the primary charity of the BIG4 Holiday Park network.

Owners of the BIG4 Holiday Parks, from over 170 locations across Australia, enthusiastically supported this announcement and raised $39,515 on the night. “We were overwhelmed with the generosity from the BIG4 Parks. This money will go a long way in helping to bring smiles where they are needed most,” Melinda said. Dr Phil Betta and Dr Blot provided massages and added more fun and laughter to the evening.

“At BIG4 we take what we do seriously, but we don’t take ourselves seriously, so to be able to connect with a cause that is based on delivering humour is a perfect match for us,” Terry said. “BIG4 looks after the happiness and fun times of families on their well-earned holidays. We look forward to supporting The Humour Foundation assist children and families during illness.”

Melinda was equally as excited about the new partnership. “We are looking forward to this new partnership with BIG4. The Humour Foundation focuses on celebrating the health of a child and lightening the load for their families, bringing much needed smiles and laughter. We believe this is a perfect fit with BIG4,” she said.
