BRISBANE AND GOLD COAST CLOWN DOCTOR UNIT

Two Clown Doctors are on ‘clown rounds’ two days a week at Royal Children Hospital.  They have been dosing their patients with fun and laughter since 1999.

In addition, Clown Doctors visit Gold Coast Hospital twice a month where they admister their nonsense to both children and adults. 

Dr Bob
Think suave, sophisticated and charming; think tall, elegant and intellectual. Think of Sean Connery playing James Bond … now think of someone who is not like that at all. Not even a little bit. Now you are probably thinking of someone a bit more like Doctor Bob. However his bright orange Doc Martins with fingerprints all over them are the envy of all the fashionable women in the hospital. His juggling, balancing and other amazing feats are pretty popular too!   His life ambitions are to get a decent haircut and to become a famous lounge singer.

Dr B Bubbly
With her gorgeous smile and effervescent personality, Dr Bubbly flits and flirts her way around the hospital. She blows bubbles of course, wears tap shoes and plays her ukele, She has many special remedies with her bubbliness, and of course comes from a very bubbly family.  She is always looking for someone to marry and wishes she was a rockstar!

Dr Kerfuffle
Dr Kerfuffle is proud that he is the youngest doctor in the world, having graduated one month before he was born. Since then he has grown up to be a lovable dag.

Dr Tickle-Me-Please
What happens when you tickle Dr Tickle-me-Please?  Or does she tickle her patients? She’s cheeky and funny and wears her Mad Hatter’s hat adorned with feathers. And yes, she can produce a rabbit from her hat. Is she really magic?

Dr Wobble
Dr Wobble just can’t stand still! She’s often seen dancing down the corridors, groovin’ to her own inner disco and imagining herself in “Saturday Night Fever”, or making up hip hop tunes and moves as a wannabe MC. Unfortunately, she’s not the most coordinated of clowns, but that won’t stop her! She’s got her silver space boots on and she is ready to go-go!

Dr Reddy
Dr Reddy is always ready or up to something. She is ready to operate, pontificate or just generally be too late. She loves red, red things and reading into things. Sometimes she pretends to be different characters so she can access other brilliant minds when hers gets lost. She loves to sing and create dance routines with who ever is nearby and up for it. Everyone is her play mate and there’s always enough time to celebrate stuff, just for the sake of it!

Dr Foot-Twanger
