Clown Doctors admitted to Hospital

Dr Sniggles, Dr Dizzy and Dr Ker Plunk will be now  leave  patients in stitches at Lismore Base Hospital in northern NSW.

This is the first regional hospital in Australia to host a Clown Doctor program. Two Clown Doctors will   dispense fun and laughter to patients of all ages at the hospital every week. Clown Doctors had visited Lismore Base Hospital as part of the Outreach program several times over the years, and now the hospital will host their own Clown Doctors. 

Dr Sniggles (Helen Quinlan) was one of   Australia’s first Clown Doctors. She began spreading smiles at Sydney Children’s Hospital in 1997. She has now moved to northern NSW. Local performers Ben hur Hellivand (Dr ker Plunk) and John Cameron (Dr Dizzy) join her in the new Clown Doctor Unit.
